With the increasing application of ultrasound technology in anesthesia field, and the deepening of the understanding of the innervation of hip joint, regional block anesthesia technology is guaranteed and developed. Regional block anesthesia is increasingly used in hip surgery. In this review, we discussed the anatomy, approach, indications and complications of lumbar plexus block (LPB), fascia iliaca compartment block (FICB), quadratus lumborum block (QLB), erector spinae plane block (ESPB) and pericapsular nerve group (PENG), so as to explore the progress of various regional block anesthesia techniques in hip surgery. |
